Edward R. Murrow   was the most prominent and well known journalist of his day.   In the early 1950's, the absurd anti-communist witch hunt of Senator Joseph McCarthy was  spreading fear throughout the country.   The resultant "blacklisting" was destroying the live of thousands of innocent people.   In 1954, Mr. Murrow was the only man with courage enough to challenge and put an end to senseless destruction.   Today, 2009, the absurd banking and finance system  is causing destruction a thousand times greater than that of former Senator Joseph McCarty, and almost none of the politicians and none the  media, news  stars are seriously talking about the causes, or offering real cures.   Edward R. Murrow,  where are you?
